| MASS stands for Maximum arch subtalar supination and is a approach to foot orthotics in which the foot is casted in a very inverted position in the rearfoot and the first ray plantarflexed, creating a very high arched foot orthotic. The basis of teh casting method is to use a foam box, so it is done in a semiweightbearing postion. | |
