Pes cavus is the name generally given to a higher arched supinated foot. Most cases of pes cavus are an anatomical variant, however some can be caused by an underlying neurological condition. All cases of pes cavus need to be assessed to determine the cause. Treatment is generally only needed is there are symptoms.
